Termite
: Pre-Construction Treatment
We offer several pre-construction
treatment options:
Option One: Our most popular option is
a “partial
treatment”*. This consists of treating
all of the plumbing penetrations prior to pouring
the slab. Soil surrounding all plumbing penetrations
is treated by rod and trench methods to a depth
of 6”-10”.
The benefits to this treatment
are:
- Renewable, 3-year transferable
termite control and service agreement covering
the entire structure.
- Excellent level of protection.
- Reduced
pesticide volume.
- No builder inconvenience.
- Reduced
cost.
Option Two:
This option is a more “in
depth” treatment.
In addition to the same treatment method as option
one, we complete an exterior perimeter trench
and treat the entire foundation after the final
landscape is installed. This option is also considered
a “partial treatment”*.
- This provides
a higher level of protection than option
one.
- Renewable,
4-year transferable, termite control and
service agreement covering the entire structure.
Option Three:
This is our most thorough
and complete pre-treatment method. In addition
to options one and two, the
entire slab area is treated by a broadcast spray
method. This provides our highest and most thorough
level of protection. This is considered a “full
treatment”*.
- All base plates on the exterior
walls of the home are treated with a boric acid
dusting. This
will prevent general insects from entering
the home.
- As an added benefit,
we also treat all wood-framing members, surrounding
the
plumbing penetrations,
with Termidor®
- Renewable, 6-year transferable,
termite control and service agreement
covering the entire structure.
